WORK TOGETHER - BUILD TOGETHER

ALLYSON BERRY is a product of the Leesburg public school system, where she first experienced the value of community. She follows the footsteps of her parents, L.J., and Agnes Berry, with a commitment to community development. Her participation in St. Paul A.M.E. Church, the Girls Scouts, Cadettes, NAACP, Triad, and as a Water Safety Instructor, contributed to her popularity as a cheerleader and Miss Leesburg High School. Allyson took these values with her to Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina. She later earned an MBA from University of Phoenix. After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia she began her career in accounting and has been employed by MetLife, Inc., Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), and Cable News Network (CNN). Her public service activities include Chair of the Program Planning and Development Committee, and Chair of the Fundraising Committee in the Gwinnett Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In addition to being a volunteer for gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, she has been an annual participant in Adopt A Road, AIDS Walk, and the American Cancer Society activities. Allyson returned to Leesburg in 2020 and is currently Controller at LifeStream Behavioral Center.
